I write. And this month, I’m participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). The goal is to write 50.000 words in just 30 days.
I’m pretty sure I’m not going to finish in time, though, and once I get that realisation, I tend to lose focus and start drawing again. But, to justify that, I draw writing related things. In this case, I did a form of character design for the main character of the novel that I’m trying to write. The novel is called A Vantage Point of Asses, and I’ll give you the first line of it so you can put it into context:
Imagine being at butt height every single day. Jenna Carter knows exactly what that’s like; she’s been staring at people’s butts for years, spending most of the day sitting in a wheelchair. That’s her awkward predicament.
So, once I started losing fate in the goal I was trying to reach, I did a bit of drawing:

Since I don’t usually do much character design, I’m pretty interested to see if I can take it any further. Now, back to writing…
